The Community

After witnessing first-hand the realities of the creative industry; and the limited access to opportunity for young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds, The Creative Association was founded to challenge that imbalance.

Built from lived experience, its purpose is to support and promote creatives globally, foster inclusivity, and close the access gap within the creative industries. Through mentorship, training, portfolio development, and meaningful industry connections, it empowers underrepresented creatives to build their portfolios, kick-start their careers, and establish long-term, sustainable pathways into the industries they aspire to enter.

The Creative Association operates globally with members from countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, India, the Philippines, Nigeria, South Africa and more, across all creative sectors and disciplines.

About Us

The Mission: To champion young creatives from underrepresented and low-socioeconomic backgrounds, by closing the opportunity gap in creative sectors, providing mentorship, portfolio-building opportunities, industry training, and direct access to professional networks.

Who We Support: Operating globally, we support a diverse community of creatives across media & storytelling; visual arts & content creation; fashion & styling; creative strategy & direction; tech, gaming & innovation and more, helping them kick-start and build sustainable, meaningful careers.

Why It Matters: Despite the global creative economy being valued at over $2 trillion, access to meaningful opportunities within the industry remains disproportionately limited for young people from low socio-economic backgrounds. These barriers are not due to a lack of talent, but a lack of access.
